Not much can beat the feeling of supporting our local businesses right now, and boy, do we have a great way you can do that. You’ll have to take it slow, browse through gorgeous market stalls and bask in the weekend sunshine…doesn’t sound too bad, does it? In the tough times that we’ve had on the Gold Coast recently, supporting small businesses doing it tough is the least we can do.

The local markets are the perfect spot to stock up on locally-grown, fresh produce, snag a unique handmade gift and feel totally smug that you’re up early on a weekend. Thankfully, we are blessed on the Gold Coast with an abundance of markets that will satisfy all your market-trawling cravings.

We’ve made your August a whole lot better and rounded up the best food, twilight, fashion and artisan markets on the Gold Coast this month.
